Jack Clark - A veteran of five major league teams, the longtime first baseman filed for bankruptcy in 1992 while in the final year of a nearly $9 million, three-year contract with the Boston Red Sox. He listed debts of $11.4 million and assets of $4.8 million in the filing. He retired that season. Associated Press
