After two season with Phillies, Gold Glove center fielder Aaron Rowand departed to patrol the outfield in San Francisco vacated by Barry Lamar Bonds. Rowand's biggest impact was his defense, but he put up career numbers last season batting .309 with 27 home runs, 89 RBIs, and 105 runs in 161 games for Philadephia. Associated Press
