Vote: Braves' McCann among best MLB catchers?

THURMAN MUNSON, New York Yankees (1969-79) -- While Munson's career was cut tragically short by his August 1979 death in a plane crash at age 32, his time in pinstripes was amazingly productive. For his career, Munson posted a .292 BA, 113 HR, 701 RBI and 1,558 hits. A seven-time All-Star selection, he was a member of two World Series champion teams, the 1970 AL Rookie of the Year and the 1976 AL MVP. Associated Press
