Braves' Mike Hampton's career
Hampton was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in 1990. Five years later he would become a starter for the Houston Astros. His best season with the team would be 1999, when he compiled a 22-4 record and 2.90 ERA, and he finished second in the N.L. Cy Young Award. He would then be traded. Associated Press
