Tom Glavine, who had three rehab starts in Triple-A Gwinnett and Class-A Rome, was coming back from shoulder and elbow surgery. He told the radio station he thinks Braves officials were hoping he would get hurt so that they wouldn't have to pay a $1 million bonus he would have been due if he had been added to the active roster.
