Braves fall to Nationals at home
Braves outfielder Garret Anderson hits a single to reach 2,500 hits for his career during 2nd inning action against the Washington Nationals at Turner Field. He currently ranks seventh among all active players in hits and eighth in RBIs (1,353). Anderson is the 89th player in Major League history to notch 2,500 career hits according to the Elias Sports Bureau. The Braves lost to the Nationals 2-1. Curtis Compton, ccompton@ajc.com
