MLB photos: Braves 2009 season
The Braves acquired Javier Vazquez from the Chicago White Sox in an offseason trade to solidify its starting rotation. He finished 2009 on a high note with a 1.42 ERA and 4-1 record in his last five starts. It was his 10th-straight season with 10 or more wins. He finished the season with 238 strikeouts, more than any other Brave. AP
