Curacao proud of Brave Jurrjens
Jurrjens was drafted by the Detroit Tigers at 17. He came to the Braves last October as part of the deal that sent Edgar Renteria to Detroit. He has quickly become one of the anchors on the rotation with a 9-4 record, a 3.00 ERA and 81 strikeouts. He was National League's rookie of the month for June. Vino Wong / vwong@ajc.com
