New at the zoo: Animal babies

This dapper little emperor penguin chick hatched at SeaWorld San Diego in early Sept. 2010. The chick, which weighs nearly 2 pounds and stands about 7 inches tall, is being reared behind the scenes at SeaWorld's Penguin Encounter. It's the 21st successful hatching of an emperor penguin at SeaWorld San Diego, the only place in North America to house and successfully breed the species, according to park officials.
