More motorists took a chance on Atlanta's Interstates like these cars exit off the southbound connector near Turner Field Jan. 12, 2011, after another overnight hard freeze. Ice will also persist on many surface streets, especially the less traveled ones, until temperatures climb and stay above freezing. And that won' be until at least Friday afternoon, forecasters say.
