Officer-involved shooting on Roswell Road
A busy Sandy Springs thoroughfare was shut down during the early stages of Wednesday's morning commute, Feb 1, 2012 after a police officer shot at a robbery suspect who had allegedly pulled a gun on the officer. Roswell Road remained closed in both directions at Lake Placid Drive, just inside I-285, at 7 a.m. Police crime scene tape surrounded the gas pumps at the Roswell Food Mart Citgo station across from the Prado shopping center.
