The Monastery of the Holy Spirit in Conyers has contracted horse loggers with the Healing Harvest Forest Foundation to salvage and mill usable trees in a four-acre portion of the Monastery's new 70-acre cemetery. The crew keeps the Suffolk Punch horses, ranging from 1700-2000 lbs. each, in the monastery barns overnight and then transports them by trailer to the logging operation site each morning.
