Cobb County VIPER officer Victor Verola escorts a suspect that was arrested for marijuana and cocaine possession while she was parked at a store near Six Flags Over Georgia in metro Atlanta. The county's public safety commissioner formed a new specialized unit, the Violent Incident Prevention and Early Response unit, a year ago and there have been over 400 felony arrests, 500 misdemeanor arrests and several search warrants have been executed.
