TIME RUNS OUT-- The end might finally be here for the struggling Morris Brown College. Gaines Hall (right) is boarded up and deserted as Fountain Hall is seen in the background Wednesday August 22, 2012. On Tuesday the African Methodist Episcopal Church said it would be unable to repay $13 million in college bonds secured by the schools. Once a pillar of the AUC, Morris Brown was strapped with debt and in 2002 lost its accreditation and federal funding as enrollment went from 2,500 to about 20. BOB ANDRES / BANDRES@AJC.COM
