SHOOTOUT CHASE--An apparent shootout at a DeKalb County night club early Friday, July 6, 2012 led to an early morning police chase and subsequent wreck, police said. An off-duty police officer gave chase after shots were fired at The Shadow Room club on Covington Drive. Police responding to a lookout spotted a Dodge Durango near Covington Highway and I-285 and pursued the SUV when the driver refused to stop. The occupants were transported to a nearby hospital.
