FINAL HONORS--The Atlanta police department Honor Guard carries the casket out to a waiting caisson after the service for Senior Police Officer Gail Thomas Monday, January 30, 2012. The standing room only funeral for Officer Thomas was held at Elizabeth Baptist Church in Atlanta. Hundreds of officers from agencies throughout the region came to pay their last respects.
