Lake Lanier rising
Lanier, a federal reservoir that supplies most of metro Atlanta's water, has not been full since October 2005. The Chattahoochee River, a water source for some 3 million people, continued to flow steadily by the Lower Pool Park area at Buford Dam. Vino Wong / vwong@ajc.com
