Police join forces for metro Atlanta crime sweep
Police made their presence known throughout metro Atlanta Wednesday with "Operation Street Sweep," a combination of road blocks, extra patrols and arrest warrant sweeps. In Gwinnett, officials from five law enforcement agencies met at Gwinnett Place Mall for a briefing and assignments. They then spent the afternoon and evening doing saturation patrols.
