One shot during Gwinnett bank robbery
One person was shot in the arm Thursday, June 23, 2011 during a bank robbery in Gwinnett County. Gwinnett police Cpl. Edwin Ritter said the gunman entered the Wells Fargo branch at Spalding Drive and Peachtree Parkway about 11 a.m. "The male fired a few rounds as he left the bank, striking one person in the arm, " Ritter said. The condition and identity of the victim were not immediately available. Police on the scene told Channel 2 Action News that the wounded man was a bank employee. John Spink, jspink@ajc.com
