Georgia doctor Leila Denmark dies at 114
Denmark touches the hand of 4-year-old Jamey Braswell during an office in 1998 for a sore throat at her 125-year-old farmhouse next door to her home. Denmark began treating sick children in her home the same year Mickey Mouse made his debut. By the time she retired, she was treating the grandchildren of some of her early patients -- and still in a home office. Curtis Compton, ccompton@ajc.com
