Protesters rally on Georgia immigration bill
About 15 people from Alabama -- where HB56 went into effect last year -- showed their support Thursday, March 1, 2012 during the protest outside an Atlanta federal appeals court where the judge postponed the resolution until April 25. A federal appeals court announced that it would wait until after the U.S. Supreme Court rules on Arizonaâ¿¿s anti-illegal immigration law before it acts on similar statutes in Georgia and Alabama, keeping parts of those measures on hold for months to come.
