Green burial
Green burial is simple: In stretches of meadow and forest, remains are interred without formaldehyde, cement vault, even coffin (if that was the deceased's wish), ultimately becoming part of the soil. Tombs can be marked with medallions that fit in the palm of the hand; no granite slabs interrupt the landscape.
