Timeline: Clayton schools lose accreditation
During the contentious March meeting, police escorted board Norreese Haynes from his seat. Haynes had been arrested in December in a Cobb County domestic dispute in which a man accused the board member of assault. Haynes was removed from the board and sued to reclaim his seat but lost his battle before the Georgia Supreme Court. His seat was filled in a special election by Alieka Anderson.
