Mortally wounded Fulton Deputy Hoyt Teasley is loaded into an ambulance outside the Fulton County Courthouse in downtown Atlanta on Friday morning, March 11, 2005. Authorities said Nichols escaped from the courthouse after overpowering Deputy Cynthia Hall, then killed Judge Rowland Barnes, court stenographer Julie Ann Brandau and Teasley before gunning down Customs Agent David Wilhelm that night.
