Reed, Norwood make final push for votes
On Tuesday, Atlanta voters will elect a new mayor in a runoff election. It will be either former State Sen. Kasim Reed or City Councilwoman Mary Norwood. Both candidates were stumping for votes Saturday. Norwood waves at motorists near the intersection of Monroe and Piedmont. If elected, she would become Atlanta's first white mayor since Sam Massell left office in 1974. Josh D. Weiss / AJC Special
