Man stabbed in Piedmont Park
Atlanta homicide Sgt. Bob Creasy (right) and investigator Mark Cooper looked over the side of a bridge in Piedmont Park where a man was stabbed to death early Thursday morning. The victim, who was in his early 40s, was stabbed in the chest during a 2 a.m. robbery attempt near the park's lake. Another man was stabbed during an overnight robbery at Juniper and 6th streets, a few blocks south of Piedmont Park.
