Atlanta City Council holds special pension meeting
Council members Yolanda Adrean (left) and Felicia Moore react during discussion on whether to adjourn a special meeting on a pension deal on Thursday, June 23, 2011. Mayor Kasim Reed spent the meeting with council members trying to confirm votes and hash out a deal that everyone -- or at least most people -- can live with. The new option is said to save the city $25 million annually. Bob Andres, bandres@ajc.com
