Cops set up sting to keep pedestrians safe
Here's a copy of the law, and a quick explanation - if a pedestrian is legally crossing the street (within a crosswalk and with the crossing light) motorists who fail to stop at the crosswalk for walkers anywhere in the direction of traffic are in violation. John Spink/jspink@ajc.com
