One of the biggest traffic bottlenecks was on northbound Spring Street, a main artery into downtown from I-20. Barricades blocked the street at Marietta Street, and police forced the four lanes of traffic to turn either right toward Five Points or left toward CNN Center and Centennial Olympic Park.
