Realizing the Dream Awards in D.C.

John Lewis, a longtime Georgia congressman and civil rights activist, served for a time as chairman of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC), an orgnizatiion that, ironically, was often at odds in the '60s with King's Southern Christian Leadership Conference.
