Remembering WWII at Atlanta History Center
Scott Stoke (from left) and his son, Christopher, visit with Holocaust survivor Dr. Mathew E. Sikorski. Sikorski said he was ten years old in Warsaw, Poland, when the Germans invaded. He said he lost his father in a concentration camp. Along with his mother, he started a new life in Chicago in 1951, becoming a U.S. citizen in 1957. Allen Sullivan / AJC
