Bound burglary victim typed 'Help' with toes

The toes did the typing. Amy Windom, 39, who was tied to her bed during a home invasion and armed robbery was freed by police after she used her toes to type a computer message to her boyfriend. The robbery happened around midnight on Glenwood Avenue, police said. Just before 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, the victim's boyfriend called 911 to report that his girlfriend had just contacted him and had been tied to her bed since midnight. Officers found her still tied up.
