'Cops on Doughnut Shops' raise funds

Cops took to the roofs of 14 Krispy Kreme shops at 6 a.m. Friday, April 30, 2010 and will stay there until 6 p.m. Sunday. The "Cops on Doughnut Shops" event raised $112,000 last year, and volunteers hope to increase that amount this year. It is the 6th Cops on Doughnut Shops charity fundraiser for the Special Olympics.
