The Atlanta Missing and Murdered Children cases
Retired Atlanta Homicide Detective Danny Agan talks at the entrance to Niskey Lake Cove subdivision in southwest Atlanta near where the first two bodies linked to the Atlanta Child Murders were found. What was mostly forest then is filled with upscale subdivisions. Over a two-year period from 1979 to 1981, a minimum of 29 black children, adolescents and adults were killed. Wayne Williams was convicted of two of the murders, but many of the cases Agan worked on remain unsolved. PHIL SKINNER, pskinner@ajc.com
