Atlantans in space
Col. Eric Boe, a 1983 graduate of DeKalb's Henderson High School, piloted the space shuttle. He graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1987. In 1997 he received a master's degree in electrical engineering from Georgia Tech. NASA
