Atlantans in space
When Eric Boe was hardly out of grade school he began spending weekends with older kids learning to fly with the the Civil Air Patrol. In 2000 he applied to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration to be an astronaut. Here he takes part in a tasting session at the Johnson Space Center. NASA
