Farmer passes the mantle
Joe Reynolds hand picks some speckled lettuce recently on the farm belonging to Skip and Cookie Glover in Douglasville. Motorists passing by on Ga. 166 can see a few rows of vegetables, but trees shield much of the farm. Porches and decks are scattered around the grounds, with blue and orange metal gliders providing ideal resting places to listen to birds or to look over fields nourishing a new crop.
