Chapter 4: Making It Home
In early July, Doretha Rease, 80, sits on her front porch with her niece Shelvy Davis in the foreground and contractor Danny Funderburk in the background. Davis brings Rease to her house almost once a week to see the progress. Rease's best memories are sitting on her front porch with her husband who passed away in 2006.
