The Boyces handpicked each piece of onyx that was inset into the travertine tile. "It's entirely tiled. And that's what you're going to find in a spa. You're going to find... real clean lines of all travertine. So that gives it a spa feel," Kathy Boyce said. In gutting the bathroom, they found some space behind the shower that was not being used, allowing them to create a shower seat made out of granite, which also is used for the countertop.
