Tech Year In Sports: 2007
Backup quarterback Taylor Bennett was named the starter for the Gator Bowl on New Year's Day after Reggie Ball was declared academically ineligible. Bennett had a solid outing, throwing for 326 yards, but West Virginia won the game. He could not match that performance in the 2007 season as Tech's first-string QB. Johnny Crawford / AJC
