Give your heart and blood pressure a workout
Break up your exercise routine with a kettlebell, a cast-iron weight that resembles a cannonball with a handle. Kettlebell training can lower the heart rate and blood pressure while building strength and endurance. Bells vary in weight from 18 to 106 pounds, so begin with the smallest weight and increase as you gain more strength and comfort. Certified kettlebell trainer Delanie Ross demonstrates some basic techniques. Chris Hunt / AJC
