Outwrite Bookstore closing Midtown shop
After 18 years of business, at the busy corner of 10th and Piedmont, independent, gay and lesbian bookstore Outwrite Bookstore announces its closing Monday, Nov. 14, 2011. Store president Phillip Rafshoon says the store's lease is expiring in a few months and there is "no way that any model we have looked at will allow us to continue in (the current) space."
