Equitable Building on auction block
A view of the Equitable Building and the surrounding area, including Woodruff Park, as pictured in 1978. The building was owned by Equitable Life Assurance Society from 1968 to 1997, when it was sold to Chicago-based LaSalle Advisors for almost $36 million.
