Best known for his role as the co-host of the sketch comedy program "Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In," Dick Martin also directed more than a dozen series, including "The Bob Newhart Show." However, it's the sketch show for which he will be remembered. It became the No. 1 program within two months of its debut. "Laugh-In" went on to become one of the iconic programs of the 70s and television history. He died on May 24. Associated Press
